BLACKPOOL HOLIDAYS - Hi, i need to know of some really interesting or popular nice places to visit within 5mil

i can travel around 6miles out of blackpool….. but i dont know of anywhere nice… beach? entertainment? sun? sand? sex?
want to get out of the heart of blackpool away from the arcades as my g/f is addicted to playing fruit machines.

    why not check out Fleetwood, there is a good market there, and you can get the tram there and back.

    don’t miss the tower circus, its amazing.

    Well there is so much to do! I wont list what is available in the beach area as that will be fairly obvious.
    First try Stanley Park (take a bus from Talbot Rd) - there is a great lake with boats, sports centre, cafe, golf, etc.
    Then try Blackpool Zoo which is a great day out.
    You can get buses to towns like St.Annes, Lytham and Poulton which are good for cafes. Lytham seafront is good for a romantic walk! There’s also a theatre and upmarket shops.
    Fleetwood can be reached by tram, and there is an outlet mall called freeport which is worth a look.
    In Blackpool I can also recommend: Grand Theatre, Opera House, Syndicate Night Club, Odeon Multiplex, Pleasure Beach (of course!) If you get down to South Beach you may also see some great Kite surfing.
